Corrections Policy.

We want every EverestBlog article to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.

Report a mistake

If you spot an error — a wrong fact, date, name, figure or photo credit — please tell us through the contact page. Include the article title and what you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one.

How we correct

  • We review every report against credible sources.
  • Confirmed mistakes are corrected in the article, and the article’s “Updated” date reflects the change.
  • Significant corrections are noted within the article itself, so readers can see what changed.
  • We do not silently rewrite history: the meaning of a published article is never changed without a visible update.

Timing

We aim to review correction reports within a few days. Urgent factual errors are prioritised.
